The TERRA EF road vehicle scale from Waagen-Döhrn is characterized by its shallow foundation depth of 80 cm or 95 cm. Sufficient depth for cleaning is provided, and the TERRA EF is a pure concrete scale.

The electromechanical TERRA EF is legal-for-trade, resistant to frost and de-icing salt, and very robust due to its high abrasion resistance.
Our TERRA-EF vehicle and truck scale also features an attractive price-performance ratio, as the low weight of the concrete parts results in advantages for transport and crane costs, among other things.
The TERRA EF is the all-rounder among our vehicle scales.
With the two construction depths of 80 cm and 95 cm, we achieve an optimal balance between working height within the scale and shallow foundation depth for the TERRA EF vehicle scale. A shallow foundation depth may be necessary if a high groundwater table or underground pipes, for example, only allow for a shallow design.

Depending on the length, the TERRA EF consists of a total of 1, 2, or 3 bridge sections.
All precast concrete parts are manufactured according to relevant DIN standards and with a high concrete grade of C45/55. The shallow TERRA EF road vehicle scale means minimal effort for you regarding on-site services. If required, the TERRA EF vehicle scale can also be easily relocated to a new site at a later date.
After a quick concrete assembly of approx. 3 hours, the TERRA EF vehicle and truck scale is completed within a short time with modern weighing technology components, customized for each client.
For all new vehicle and truck scales, we rely on modern, digital compression load cells. Due to the way data is transmitted to the weighing terminal, digital load cells are no longer susceptible to overvoltage, interference from other cables, or disturbances caused by moisture and wetness, etc.
Furthermore, they possess a higher accuracy class of C4 instead of C3.
We select the right weighing terminal individually in coordination with you and according to your requirements. All weighing terminals are available in protection class IP69K.
Upon completion of the vehicle scale, we perform the conformity assessment of the scale, after which it can be used by you as a legal-for-trade vehicle and truck scale.
Various options can be selected for the TERRA EF vehicle and truck scale:
The road vehicle scale can be delivered with integrated strip foundations below the scale pit.
This eliminates the need for on-site cast-in-place concrete strip foundations, and a base layer of gravel/crushed stone is sufficient for site preparation. Likewise, the waiting time for the cast-in-place concrete to set is eliminated, and no new foundations are required if the vehicle scale is dismantled or relocated.
In this case, the height of the side walls of the vehicle scale pit is reduced by 5 cm.
This provides the possibility to weigh oversized vehicles by allowing them to overhang. This option is frequently chosen for agricultural vehicles when a scale width of 3.30 m is not possible. Lateral drive-over capability of the scale is not possible with this option.
Another option is wheel guards mounted on the sides of the scale bridge.
This ensures that the vehicle is positioned correctly on the scale bridge and that no force shunts occur. Due to the curbs or wheel guards on the scale bridge, the lane width is reduced by 30 cm. If a total scale width of 3.30 m is chosen, the 3-meter lane is still maintained. The curbing is possible not only on the bridge but also on the pit.
