The areas of application and industries include, among others:

• Industrial manufacturing
  • In production, floor scales are used to carry out quality checks within manufacturing processes

  • Goods in and goods out: floor scales are ideally suited for quickly and easily checking the weights of goods leaving the warehouse or delivered to the warehouse. This also helps with inventory control and optimising loading processes to avoid overloading the truck.
  • Shipping department: floor scales are used in the shipping area to determine and check pallets or larger parcels.

• Trade
  • In wholesale, floor scales are often used for weighing bulk packaging for sale or for further processing
  • Sale by weight: in many areas, floor scales are used to determine weight for pricing certain product groups, e.g. in DIY stores, cooperatives or butcher’s shops

• Recycling and waste management
  • The floor scale can be found at almost every recycling centre. It supports sorting and calculating the delivered materials
  • The floor scale is often used for deliveries of small quantities, as the vehicle scale requires a minimum load of 400 kg or at least 200 kg

Floor scale versions

As a rule, we refer to a floor scale when the platform size is at least 800 x 800 mm. The platform size can be selected very individually; standard sizes are, for example, 1,500 x 1,250 or 2,000 x 1,500. The size of the platform depends very much on your specific requirements for the scale; special sizes are also no problem. The same applies to the weighing range of your scale: as standard, we are often in the range of 1,500–3,000 kg, but this can also be adapted to your requirements. Our floor scales can be supplied painted, hot-dip galvanised or in stainless steel. Weighing terminals are offered individually in consultation with you. All floor scales can be supplied by us as verified or non-verified.

Our floor scales can be supplemented by a whole range of options, for example:

• Impact protection for above-floor use
• Drive-on ramp, e.g. if the scale is to be driven onto with a pallet truck
• Installation frame or floor fixing set, for installing the scale or fixing it in a specific position
• Stand for the weighing terminal, either directly on the platform or separate
• Plug connectors for separating the measuring cable
• Forklift pockets for moving the platform with a forklift or pallet truck
• ATEX version for use in hazardous areas, Zone 1/21 or 2/22
• Hinged load plate
