The TERRA EG railway scale from Waagen-Döhrn is manufactured entirely from precast concrete parts. This applies to both the scale pit and the single-part or multi-part bridge.

The scale is delivered with a raised S49 rail with a standard width of 2.00 m. For scales that can be driven over transversely or for combined railway/vehicle scales with a width of 3 m, a recessed PH37 grooved rail is used.
Other rail profiles and track gauges can be implemented upon request. The scale can be manufactured in a wide variety of designs and also in accordance with WHG (Water Resources Act) requirements. The electromechanical TERRA EG is legal-for-trade, robust, and has sufficient pit depth for maintenance.
